Had a long day at church with meeting starting at 8:30 and all sessions over at 1pm. Starving on the way home and ate my banana in the car. Jim made soup. Yum
It was a very good ward conference, Lots of teaching and learning about how to teach the way Christ taught. It will give us all a new way of looking at how we teach and how we can make learning more interesting and inspiring. We all have to Keep the Commandments but first we have do know the commandments and what blessing we will have if we keep them.
The rain is coming down and we are getting ready to attend Aaron's Eagle Court of Honor. We are so excited for Aaron and this wonderful accomplishment.
Jim has ironed his uniform - I just love a man in uniform. He especially looks good in his scout uniform.
While getting all the stuff (food, soft drinks, plates and napkins) ready to go to the Scout Hut, it gave me time to remember all the wonderful times and memories we have had with Aaron. It is hard to believe 18 years have already passed. Aaron was a darlin' little boy and he is a handsome young man. Our hope is that he will have a wonderful life and find what makes him happy. His interest in the culinary arts should make for a good career.
It's about time to go. So I will finish this later. I have platters to pick up at Zaxby's. Aaron likes hot wings so that's what we will be having, among other things, Last night I saw the cookie cake and it looks great!
More later with photos.
Be Sweet, Sue
