Nothing serious - just fun making memories with friends!
A few weeks ago, my friend Cathy had a party at her new home in Monroe and I have included a few photos. Bill and Norah who used their new GPS and Cathy's great directions to find her house way out in Monroe. Their trip was about 3 hours round trip.

Michele and Suzanne were enjoying the tour of the home.

Peggie - the gift from Steve arrived on Saturday but I was a good girl and did not open it until my actual Birthday on Monday - THANKS to Steve for my gift.
Monday, Debbie, my office mate brought a wonderful sheet cake to the office. My sweet daughter,Victoria, took me out to dinner, Jim and Denny went with us and we all had a great time. I love the flowers, too! Awesome. Of course, Denny sat at a separate table adjoining us. He was smiling so I know he loves to eat out.
The lesson for Relief Society at church on Sunday was on "Trials in our Lives" which of course is very timely with all that is going on in the world. The teacher, Bethany, gave this quote, "Sometimes the Lord calms the storm.... sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms the child." (author unknown). She asked us to think about our personal trials in life and list them. Then she asked us to write down how the trial can be a blessing to us. It was a very thought inspiring exercise. We concentrated on the trials we are faced with today and we did find blessings even in adversity. We were all uplifted by the lesson - it didn't take our trials away - we just looked upon them with a different attitude.
Well, I must run and get back to work.
Be Kind to one another and smile (people will just wonder what you are up to),
Sue

Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun!! It was great to hear from you!! Love ya!! :)
I had fun going out with you guys! I'm glad Denny didn't want to sit too far away. The eggplant parmesan was delightful, too. I love you!
Good blog. Looks like your life is just full of friends and fun. Birthdays are not always a fun time once you have grown up.
See you soon.
Love.
I'm afraid I must disagree with my venerable father.....I still LOVE birthdays. You only have to get older, you don't have to grow up!! I'm glad you're having a good birthday MONTH!!! Glad Steve's package arrived in time.
Keep us posted on things...
Love ya!!
