The Highland Games were wonderful!!

The weather is so lovely that even I want to go outside and play (we all know how much of an in door person I am). This weekend I was outside at Stone Mountain park taking in all the music, dancing, food, cute guys in kilts and just having a really smashing time. I bought myself a new kilt in the Freedom tartan. This tartan was developed in honor of the movie Brave Heart.

The caber toss and all the other athletic events were spectacular. Good news - the Atlanta Pipe Band and Keltic Kudzu, a great band will be doing a joint concert March 5th at Oglethorpe University and we will definitely get up a group to attend.

Neil Anderson the worlds' greatest bagpiper with the group Rathkelter entertained us and probably most of Atlanta because it was LOUD - celtic rock at its finest and loudest. They even have their own Hot sauce label. I bought a bottle but I dare not open it. I think it would burn my tonsils out.
I haven't loaded the photos from my camera yet so perhaps I will have photos later. I hope every one is happy and well!
Be Sweet, Sue
