Mitch Albom never disappoints me. His stories, both true and fiction, give me things to ponder. This book had me hooked from the first page and I didn’t want to put it down. When I finished it, I wanted more – I think that is the sign of a good book.
"Have a little faith" is about a journey Albom found himself on after his Rabbi asked him to do his eulogy. The Rabbi and Mitch had known each other for many, many years but Mitch found out there was so much more to this man of God than he imagined. The second person to join the journey was a Christian minister whose church offered help to the homeless and whose building had a gaping hole in the roof. Though out the book, we are shown that faith will guide us through the worst adversity. The examples of these men are about service to others and how we are changed by being involved in something bigger than ourselves. We can "be satisfied" and "be grateful" but it is our chose. Some people we meet along our journey struggle with the concepts of being satisfied and grateful. From time to time, we are all there, but hopefully we can ponder the lives of these men and learn.
Be sweet and ponder life’s lessons,
Sue

Sounds like a good lesson to learn. Thank you for reviewing the book.
I read it also. Wonderful! I also read 5 people you meet & Tuesdays with Morrie. He is such a quick & easy read for me. Other books seem so tortutous to start and get through.
Nothing better than a good book!
