Happy Thursday!
It is a typical day at work. I am having my lunch at my desk. We are busy and I like that. Just an update on recent days. On Tuesday, I hosted a LOST party at our home. After the new season premier, we are more confused than ever and we loved every minute of it. We are already planning for the May 23 end of the Season party. It was sort of like a slumber party. Lots of popcorn, pretzels and cake!
On Saturday, we motored up to Athens for a Natalie MacMasters and Donnell Leahy Concert. They are Canadians who keep the Celtic Fiddle tradition alive. It was the most energetic concert we have ever been to. We were there for over 2hrs and 45 minutes and it didn't seem like even an hour. We were afraid that the weather would mess up our plans but fortunately all the bad stuff was further North of Athens. We celebrated Cathy's birthday at the same time.
The next concert is at the FOX Theatre - the third visit to Atlanta of CELTIC WOMAN and I have enjoyed all the other performances and look forward to this one (Cathy's birthday gift to me). Then in March, another fiddler Eileen Ivers will be here at Ga Tech. The Ivers tickets were part of a Christmas gift.
Denny is getting used to his Christmas gift - a new mattress. He is enjoying the Wednesday dances at school, too.
Alas, lunch time is up. More later.........
Be sweet as pie,
Sue
