Just learned that both William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy will be in Atlanta Sept 4, 5, 6 (Shatner only on the 4th) at the Marriott Marquis for Dragoncon, along with Patrick Stewart and Kate Mulgrew. It will be a Star Trek feast, Whoo Hoo
The students are back at Emory this week, at least some of them, and the traffic is already bad and the shuttle situation just a perplexing at times. We Oh so Much want a Support Staff ONLY bus but I guess it just isn't practical.
This past weekend we attended a lovely backyard party for my friend Ann on her 70th birthday. The weather was picture perfect but I forgot my camera! We had hot dogs and ice cream with Fried Pies from the Varsity - yum! I love anything from the VARSITY!

Don't be afraid of Facebook. It's pretty cool. I've found several friends that I haven't seen in decades on Facebook.
I agree with you. Everyone seems to be exiting from blogging. That is very sad to me.... Look for a blog from me very soon. (I've been waiting for something blog-worthy and I finally have it!!)

Keep blogging, hopefully everyone will get bored with Facebook and come home to blogland!!

Don't feel left out, I don't do facebook either. I cheat though, April does it and keeps tabs on people for me. I just refuse to jump on that bandwagon. I have several co-workers that I think are addicted to it. They are on it all day, they send messages to each other (while they are in the same room!) and do some kind of farming thing on it all. day. long.
